Yogis, Visionaries, and Mystics

If we consider Neitzsche’s proposition that Indo-European spirituality has two polarities, the Apollonian and the Dionysian, then the Mystic is the person who delves into that realm of immediate experience, of confrontation with the Mystery, the Tremendum, the Infinite. In this section we seek to explore the consciousness of visionaries, seers, rishis, and yogis to set out for liminal realms and beyond – into hyperspace where noetic vistas and invisible landscapes lead on endlessly into ever higher states of awareness. What tools and techniques take them there, and what reports have they returned with – what is this transcendence that we hear about?
